Roofs in the middle of the forest
In Cantley the norm is a wooded lot where branches hang directly over the house. Maples in the fall, but mostly pines and spruce year-round: needles drop continuously and pack into a dense mass that rain can no longer get through.
On the sloping roads toward the park, many homes are built into the grade, with high rooflines on the street side and long gutter runs that are hard to reach. Exactly the kind of setup that clogs without anything being visible from the ground.
